History
Just two kilometres from the community of Portland Creek is the world renowned Portland Creek River, famous for its salmon and trout. The mouth of the river is encompassed by white sand beaches, which extend to the highway for easy access. A beachcomber's paradise, well worth the visit!
Only 1.5 km north of the bridge is the entrance to Mountain Waters Resort, a full service Trailer Park and Campground.
