History
Three Mile Rock, being just 1.5 kilometres from Parson's Pond, is for the most part considered a part of that community. The residents depend on Parson's Pond for all its services and facilities, and enjoy the social climate offered there.
Like most Newfoundland Outports, fishing provides the mainstay for its people.
The panoramic view of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, especially the sunset, makes this community another worthwhile stop for visitors to the Northern Peninsula.
