History
Barr'd Harbour was resettled with only five pioneers remaining as permanent residents. But, during the fishing season the village supports fifty-six fisherpersons who have summer accommodations there. The residents are not provided with any services, other than those provided by the nearby town of Port au Choix. It is very interesting and portrays the typical village of early Newfoundland.
