History
Bird Cove is a traditional fishing community that has thrived over the years with a small business sector. A recent discovery of an archaeological site has brought great interest to the community. The site is thought to be of Indian descent and possibly dating between 3,200 and 2,000 years ago. There is also a museum in the community to show the artifacts found from the dig. Bird Cove is also known for its local entertainment and is home to the "Saturn's", a local band that has been together for twenty-seven years.
