History

Pond Cove is a small community of twenty-one families. The community was named after a small duck pond in the middle of the community. It is a fishing community with a distinct culture.

The residents of the community are provided with services such as postal, recreational, educational, and retail from nearby Plum Point.

Pond Cove is a quiet place to pick berries, dig clams, or just take a scenic nature walk.
